Thematic Working Groups

The EPA Secretariat will be supported by Thematic Working Groups (TWG), whose membership will include representatives from technical institutions, the private sector, and relevant MDAs. The groups are envisaged to be constituted on specific technical lines to offer practical advice and guidance as well as assist in disseminating EPA related issues within the wider public and private sectors. Members of the group will also play a crucial role in mainstreaming the iEPA into national development strategies. Each Thematic Working Group will be led by the technical institution with the mandate in the particular area of focus. The six Thematic Working Groups will hold quarterly meetings and the total cost of twelve (72) meetings through duration of the project will be paid under this Grant contract.
